In a remarkable initiative aimed at broadening educational horizons and boosting confidence among students from remote areas, the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department has organized an educational tour to New Delhi for 120 students studying in government residential schools in Gadchiroli district.

The four-day tour, scheduled from May 29 to June 1, offers students a unique opportunity to explore some of the country’s most important national institutions and historical landmarks. The students departed for Delhi from Nagpur Airport, many of them experiencing air travel for the very first time. Their excitement and enthusiasm were clearly visible as they embarked on this memorable journey.

The educational tour includes students currently studying in Class 9. Among the participants are 40 girl students from the residential school in Sironcha, along with 40 students each from the residential schools in Wangepalli and Navegaon, making a total of 120 students.

Before their departure, Assistant Commissioner of the Social Justice Department, Dr. Sachin Madavi, extended his best wishes to the students and encouraged them to make the most of this valuable learning experience.

During their stay in the national capital, the students will visit the iconic Rashtrapati Bhavan and gain firsthand knowledge about its significance. They will also have the opportunity to learn about the functioning of the Parliament of India, one of the most important pillars of the country’s democratic system.

In addition to these institutional visits, the students will explore various historical and cultural landmarks across Delhi. These visits are expected to provide them with deeper insights into India’s rich history, heritage, and cultural diversity.

According to Dr. Sachin Madavi, the initiative has been designed to promote the overall development of students and inspire them to dream big. He emphasized that exposure to national-level institutions and experiences beyond their local environment can significantly enhance students’ knowledge, confidence, and aspirations.

This innovative educational program reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring that students from rural and remote regions receive opportunities equal to those available elsewhere, helping them build a brighter and more informed future.
